We have the following workshops planned for the afternoon of Saturday, 27 June. Places are limited, so don't leave it till the last minute to book you ticket:

  • Speed bondage by Zamil: Zamil is one of the most skilled shibari experts in the West and is one of the very few approved Osada Ryu instructors. He will be showing how to tie quickly by maximising the ergonomic efficiency of your techniques. Even if speed is not your primary objective, this workshop will enable you to tie fluidly and confidently, not only making your work more beautiful but increasing the dominance conveyed.
  • Bondage photography by Rod Macdonald: Rod is an award winning professional photographer and author, who will be running a two part workshop. The first session will cover techniques for producing striking images with the minimum of equipment, the second will show how to enhance your photos in Photoshop with some simple 'tricks of the trade'. This is a must for anyone who wants to capture the magic of their rope scenes and not just take snaps.
  • 'Pegology' by Ellie the Nomad: Ellie is credited with being the innovator of 'peg bondage', an unique technique which incorporates short pieces of bamboo. She will be demonstrating how pegs can be used to create secure yet, quick-release ties. This is a really neat trick to add to your repetoire and has many advantages.
  • Tying people, not parcels by Esinem: This will be a hands-on illustration of the principals discussed in Rope, Bondage & Power. Esinem will be revealing the secrets of how to maximise the erotic potential of a rope scene and proving that it's not what you do but the way that you do it. This will definitely revolutise the way you tie.
