the “dangerous cartoons” bill has now been agreed by the uk house of lords without any discussion - meaning next stop it becomes law - possession of loli manga risks three years imprisonment

in fact the only statutory interest was from a nutter tory lord, baroness o’cathain, proposing an extra clause making it an offense to possess “extreme pornographic writing” - ie any collection of words that are “grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character” - which portray bestiality, or necrophilia, (she missed paedophilia), or an act threatening a person’s life, or might result in injury to a person’s anus, breasts or genitals - basically the disgusting pictures act with the word “text” replacing “images” - writings about actual injury to naughty bits or actually taking, rather than merely “threatening”, another’s life is okay then, one deduces?

anyway, take solace there was no discussion of this either - perhaps they are saving it for later…? - one step at a time for total subordination - unfortunately no suggested checklist of titles for the book burnings - i’m in need of some recommended reading…
