another dribs’n'drabs delivery of the stockpile of books’n'comix ordered to get me through the hot’n'humid tokyo summer - i melt if i venture out - i go into hibernation beneath the air conditioner for three months with a freezer full of “gari-gari-kun” ice lollies - ha!, sounds like the plot of a bizarro novel?! - this isn’t the book i was intending to buy actually - i originally wanted jeremy robert johnson’s “extinction journals” as it sounded interesting (more “apocalypse fun”) and has a nice cover - but discovered this compilation includes the whole of that book, plus several other novellas (within it’s compact 236 pages!), for the same price - so a bonus faint possibility i’ll discover something new to fill the hole in my (lack of) literary excitation? - tho i’ve read some carlton mellick iii and one or two others before which, tbh, i found disappointing…
