today was my book-signing ordeal at the gallery - i thought i’d die but it appears i’m still alive - it took one and a half hours to deplete the queue - the gallery hadn’t seen anything like it since a kaneko kuniyoshi signing - at least one girl was literally crying - so, err, yeah, it was genuinely overwhelming

a couple more paintings sold - one bought by a mother for her acutely shy 19 year old daughter - as well as extremely shy she was also extremely cute, at least judging by the half of her face i glimpsed (as she was trying to catch a glimpse of me) before she ducked back behind her mum - i’m left filled with wonder…

i feel awkward about these self-aggrandizing posts so i’ll cut it short - but i want to slip in a thank you to akaneko-san for her letter and (customised) nurse doll ♥
